Enduring History Celebration
May 19, 2007 11-4:00 at Jarvisburg Colored School
7300 Caratoke Hwy, Jarvisburg, NC

Join us for a day of celebrations of our heritage and for the ribbon cutting dedication of the Jarvisburg Colored School, with restoration inside and out now complete. The building will be open on this day only, until completion as a museum in 2008.

A Barbeque lunch will be catered by High Cotton of Kitty Hawk. Lunch plates are $8.00 and may be enjoyed on site or taken ‘to go’. Purchase of tickets in advance is preferred. For tickets, please contact Ruth Dillard at 491-2287.

Performances by community groups and choirs is scheduled throughout the day.
